People and Dealers

Post by Admin on Sun Jul 10, 2011 7:47 pm

I visit a lot of forums and people talk about the Lowes and Home depot mowers and where to take them for maintenance or to have the things repaired after they destroy something on the mower.
They honestly feel like the dealer they take the mower or piece of equipment to should give them a break on parts and labor after they buy the thing at a BBS the same as someone who supports and buys from the dealer does and when they don't get the response they want the get tea totaling pissed Evil or Very Mad and they bad mouth the dealer and call him a rip off. Rolling Eyes What do they expect.

This kind of stuff makes me mad. I am on the dealers side all the way when it comes to this kind of thing. I say if you are going to buy a new piece of equipment go to the dealer not a BBS. For one the dealer will know what you need for the job and they might throw in something to sweeten the deal. The salespeople at a dealer will try their best to help get you the customer the right piece of equipment for the job. A BBS will just try to sell you something even if it won't work for the job. The dealer will be knowledgeable about what they are selling. A BBS will just know the basics about the product.

The reason I asked is because I've seen a lot of dealer bashing online lately and I just don't agree with these guys that always blame the dealer.

I support my local dealer and I find it gets my equipment serviced a lot quicker, it also gets me discounts on most of my purchases and personally I don't blame the dealers for not wanting to fool around with equipment bought from BBS.
